Turning into Flora Road, we see that The Gale is in the heart of a private residential area, away from the noise of the TPE and the busy Loyang Avenue. The project is surrounded by low level condos and the surroundings are very clean and quiet.

This was a really popular launch. We were greeted by a mini traffic jam as we approached the showroom. When we got there the showroom was fully packed and some buyers had to sit on the floor as there weren't enough desks to go around. At the time of our visit all of the 1 and 2 bedrooms were sold out.

What caught our eye this time was that The Gale isn't some 40-storey goliath we've seen in other recent launches but a series of low-rise 8-storey blocks which is something planes landing at Changi Airport would appreciate. Note that we didn't hear any roar of jet engines during our time there.

Disappointingly there is only one tennis court. Seems to be standard nowadays, which is sad.

Looking at the brochure, we're thinking their target market is yuppie couples who are into the whole luxury-living-spa-experience thing.
