Land sales started in 2003 for North Cove and completed by early 2007. For South Cove, the land sales started in 2006 and were completed in 2008. By end 2009, 85% of the projects in North Cove would have obtained their Temporary Occupation Permit (TOP). By then, the number of residents will increase from 2,300 to almost 3,000. In all, North Cove will have 230 landed homes and 830 condo apartments.
